Urami Waterfall.... Omura

Ya’ll, its been a Waterfall Summer for Sure….. We have been so Mother Nature Blessed here on this Island, where we have exploration in abundance and beauty surrounding us everywhere we look…

Madi said to me in the car on our drive yesterday that Everywhere we go here has a VIEW! Its so true…. I have fallen in love with the winding tiny roads, the hills and mountains, and above all else, the Evergreens… They blanket the Earth as far as your eyes can see…

We ventured up to Omura with friends to trek into the forest to find Urami Falls Shizenkaen… A smaller waterfall, yet completely tranquil… We have been so lucky to usually have these places to ourselves, and this trip was no different… The littles played in the water, and mud! Climbed the rocks and and swam in the cool water… Madi drew sketches in her notebook, and I watched as her she allowed her eyes to close now and then, allowing the serenity of the moment to leak into her soul… Riley hiked around a bit, and helped littles into the Fall water where their giggles filled up the little Canyon we were in…

There is a small Buddhist temple tucked into the stone next to the Falls… You could see how loved this place was by the amount of offerings and flowers placed around the base… So much positive energy here!

It was a perfect outing… Thanks given once again for a gorgeous place here on Kyushu! xoxo
