Oasi Gelsomineto- Take 1
I have a feeling there will be many Beach Posts…… We have so much to explore here!
This place is named “Marinai Beach” to the locals here on base, as its where a bunch of the Military members go …. Its about an hour from Base, but the drive is super easy and its very accessible… Called “Oasi Gelsomineto” you can find it here … Parking ranges from 6-12 Euro per car for parking, but its totally worth it! Clean and private and centered in a Nature Preserve…
We first came here in Spring, on a very windy day! Lucky for us there wasn’t many folks around- We arrived early and had freedom to swim, climb the rocks, explore and lounge… It was a great outing! Now that Summer has arrived, its packed. Everyday. So unless we get out of the house about 6am, we are not in much luck for an enjoyable//quiet beach day… We will figure it out though :) Maybe late evening cruises are on the agenda!
This Mediterranean Water THO!…. Ahhhhh its like beaches back home in Florida, but cool! Clear and shades of aqua and blue that dont even seem real… Pictures do NO justice at all, but Ill try to get out at pretty times of day and capture the best I can!
