Hiking Silvestri Crater- Again.... Mt Etna

Ya’ll, there are days when we play at the top of Mountains, and its other-worldly…. You dont need to go to Mars (i mean Im sure that would be awesome) when you have so much to explore right here on this amazing PLANET EARTH! If you follow my Instagram you may already know Im slightly addicted to this Mountain….

Etna has become our little Home here…. When we itch to get away, need a break from the claustrophobia of Military Base living, we drive, we play, we breath- a lot of the time, Here. Just before the Holidays hit, Andrew drove the girls and Me up to Silvestri Crater to play in the cold…. Watching them be Wild and Free makes me feel like Im doing something right in this life- Tea was determined to climb down into the crevasses, Story received so much love from Lady Bugs who cover the Volcanic Rock, Madi just wandered, as she loves to do. (Rye sat this one out to hang with friends…. :() We have been to this spot now a good handful of times, in all 4 Seasons, but it just doesnt disappoint….

Thankful everyday for the little things- the laughter, the play, the US. Till next time- xoxoxo
