Every year I make them take photos with me…. And as they get older, they give me the ol’ “ Aw come on Mom!” … And each Birthday I explain, its not for you, its for me, for our loved ones, and the loved ones to come… They I follow them around for 20 mins and get some shots! hehe I always win… Birdy was bribed with a Cake Pop ;)

I cannot get over how much she has grown, in every way, this past Decade. I know, its cliche, its what every parent out there since the beginning of time has said, but its TRUTH… Its a blink and they are up to your shoulders, ALMOST to big to carry-

Tea is a unique Soul. Her Mind and Thought flooded with ideas and characters and creativity… She is an artist, a writer, a passionate little Human. She has blessed our lives with a new level of Childhood, one I feel so lucky to be a part of- She makes us really slow down, take a deep breath, see the World through a different perspective….

We had so much fun taking these few pictures around our neighborhood- A storm rolling in, vegan lasagna in the oven, crepe paper streamers hanging from the porch, flowers reaching to the Heavens- ready for thirst to be quenched… It was our 1st storm here, quick, but enough for splashing barefoot…. A little Outdoor Movie Party to follow.

Every one shows her growth…. I may only get a very short while left of the knobby knees and bucked front teeth and those fresh freckles of youth.

My darling Birdy, it has been such a beautiful Journey chasing you around so far, lets see what mountains you climb over the next 10!
