My heart hurts a bit that I met this stunning Mama just weeks before she left Japan to head back to the states…. How our paths never crossed with her living just a couple blocks from me, I just dont know… But Im so so grateful to have met her and her darling babes, and Im sure we will meet again in the future, because the Navy just tends to do that to us…
Im always inspired when I meet these Navy wives that follow their passions, juggle this crazy life of deployments and international moves, with littles at home… Its like Im surrounded by Super Women who have strength beyond measure… Rini is just that… She is an incredible hair stylist (freshened up my dreadful hair and boosted my confidence, thanks babe!!!) and a present mama to her dear littles, Paisley and Weston… I fell in love with her kids, Wes with his flirtatious dimples and giggly demeanor, and Miss P who is so excited about life! Chasing her around the beach was such a blast….
The Spring Evening of their shoot couldnt have been more perfect… The air was cool, the sun hazy, the tide low. And this Mama Bird was just stunning…. I feel so passionate about Mothers in front of the camera… We always tend to be the observers, the ones trying to document the memories we are making. But we create these children, we are with them through all of these moments and milestones, we are their love source… Giving them something they can hold dear someday is so special…
